Southcentral Foundation Alaska Subspecialty Pediatric Network


APS is excited to announce our partnership with South Central Foundation’s Alaska Subspecialty Pediatric Network, offering pediatric endocrinology and diabetes services to children regardless of Indian Health Services status within the entire state of Alaska.


Southcentral Foundation’s Alaska Subspecialty Pediatric Network has a team of three pediatric endocrinologists, a nurse, a dietitian and diabetes educator, and additional case management support. Talk to your primary care provider to determine if a referral to pediatric endocrinology is appropriate.


Dr. Parisa Salehi, MD - Physician Endocrinologist


Dr. Parisa Salehi earned her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2007. She completed her pediatric training at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in 2010 and a pediatric endocrine fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in 2013. Dr. Salehi worked at Seattle Children’s Hospital for 11 years, serving as an associate professor of pediatrics in endocrinology. She has extensive experience in endocrine care, diabetes management, and gender-affirming care. She also developed and directed the Prader-Willi Syndrome Clinic, and was a medical provider in the Gender Clinic. Dr. Salehi enjoys traveling, gardening, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family, including her active toddler.

Our experienced team of pediatric endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and support staff are equipped to diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, Monogenic, etc.)
  • Growth and Puberty Disorders
  • Thyroid Disorders
  • Adrenal Gland Conditions
  • Bone and Mineral Disorders
  • And other complex endocrine issues.


How to Refer a Patient:
